About Bukonzo Dream
Bukonzo Dream by Agri Evolve comes from the spectacular Rwenzori Mountains of western Uganda — a coffee that carries not just remarkable flavour, but a story of community, care, and resilience.
Founded in 2016, Agri Evolve began with a simple observation: local farmers were producing excellent coffee but lacked proper facilities and fair access to the market. Middlemen often offered low, cash-in-hand prices, limiting farmers’ ability to grow their businesses or invest in quality.
To change this, Agri Evolve started by buying home-processed natural coffees, building trust and long-term relationships with local farmers. Over time, they expanded their model to purchase freshly harvested cherries directly from producers, allowing for better quality control and more consistent pricing.
Today, export profits are reinvested into training, processing facilities, and agricultural equipment, helping farming families improve yields, quality, and long-term livelihoods. More than 23,000 smallholder farmers across the Rwenzori Mountains are now part of this growing, sustainable system.
Bukonzo Dream reflects the collective work of these farmers — coffee grown on steep volcanic slopes, carefully harvested, and shared with the world.

Processing Method
Bukonzo Dream is produced using a natural (dry) process, which enhances sweetness and body.
- Selective Harvesting: Farmers hand-pick fully ripe cherries at peak sweetness.
- Sorting: Cherries are carefully sorted to remove underripe or defective fruit.
- Sun Drying: Whole cherries are dried slowly on raised beds in the mountain sun, allowing the fruit to ferment naturally and develop deeper sweetness.
- Milling & Grading: Once dried, the coffee is hulled, sorted, and graded for consistency and export quality.
This approach creates a coffee with rich sweetness, gentle florals, and a smooth chocolate finish.
